Four Eyes please do not put "Cooking Oil" in your glass cutter!
The best fluid for your glass cutter is the Designmaster Cutting Fluid or a low lubricant oil like a sewing machine oil.
We have also heard of some people placing petrol, turps or even thinners in their glass cutter - these are also no! no's! especially with plastic cutters as it disintergrates the plastic and dumps it onto your cutting wheel and in a short time you will need a new cutter.
With good care and the right Cutting Fluid your glass cutter will last for years, giving smooth cutting. |
